The warm damp morning turned to fat clumps of snow, drifting, feather-like, from the sky. Later,
thunder shook the window panes, heralding a wet hail. By nightfall, it had all become rain, washing
away the final traces of white, leaving behind a mud streaked sludge. Spring has come roaring in
with her usual ferocity, causing umbrellas to
sprout like mushrooms from the grey sidewalks, awakening a green wildfire. 1   |
